Okay guys, volume 4 is finally finished.
For those of you that are new, I started this little project after a little discussion on IGN boards about a Zelda anime. I thought it'd be cool to make an anime boxart that looks like the boxart of a real anime, so I got my platinum Evangelion DVD, scanned it, and tried to change as little as possible (to keep it looking authentic).
It was a lot of work, but I figured it would be pretty cool so I spent a bit of time on it and I even presented my own fanart as the screencaps for it (since no REAL anime exists). Since it turned out to be even more popular than I expected, I decided to go for 5 more (to make a complete series) but along the way, someone decided that they wanted them to be removed from deviantART. Apparently, they breached some copyright laws and had to be removed from deviantART. These copyright laws must've been a pretty big deal if the user decided to report all my pics to devinatART. I used DVD logos and ADV films' logo and apparently I needed permission from those companies to have those little stamps on my novelty boxart. I had no idea that the few little icons on a picture I made for fun would be so devastating to the owners of the copyrights.
Well, after all that work, I can't let THREE DVD covers go to waste like that. I'll have to remake them so that I can re-submit them. Of course it WILL cost me more time, which is something I don't have much of these days, so you can see why I'm not too happy about this.
Anyway, that's enough bitching from me, just try to enjoy Volume 4 SE. Volume 1,2 & 3 SE will be posted soon.
